QORE has officially entered Egypt's real estate development market, unveiling Maydan, its first project in 6th of October City, as part of an investment plan targeting EGP 30bn through 2030.
The company said its entry into real estate development builds on more than 30 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing. It plans to leverage this industrial background to manage large-scale projects with strict timelines and cost controls.
Maydan will serve as the company's flagship development, setting the tone for future projects across Egypt. QORE aims to position itself as a long-term player in the sector rather than a short-term investor.
The EGP 30bn plan reflects growing confidence in Egypt's property market despite broader economic pressures. Developers have continued to launch new projects, driven by demand for housing and commercial space in emerging urban areas.
QORE's move follows a broader trend of industrial and contracting firms expanding into real estate to capture value across the development chain. The company said it will focus on integrated communities that combine residential, commercial, and service components.
Further project announcements are expected in the coming months as QORE works to establish its presence in one of the region's largest real estate markets.
